Pupil Premium

Each year, the school is given additional Government funding called Pupil Premium Grant (PPG). PPG provides additional funding to help raise the attainment and outcomes for disadvantaged children and to reduce the gap with their peers. Our Pupil Premium Strategy explains how this funding is carefully planned and used to support these pupils by removing barriers to learning, improving academic progress, supporting wellbeing and ensuring all children have access to the same high‑quality experiences and opportunities. The strategy is based on evidence of what works best and is regularly reviewed to make sure the funding has the greatest possible impact for the children who need it most.

Recovery Premium

Recovery premium was a time‑limited government grant for state‑funded schools in England, designed to help pupils recover from the learning disruption caused by COVID‑19. It ran from 2021/22 to the end of the 2023/24 academic year, after which the funding stream officially ended.
