Owls Class - Mrs Schofield & Ms Rudd 2026 - 2027

tawny-owl.jpgWELCOME TO THE OWLS

Year 6 is an exciting and important year as children reach the end of their primary school journey and prepare for the move to secondary school. Throughout the year, pupils are encouraged to become confident, independent learners and positive role models for younger children.

As well as enjoying a fun and engaging curriculum, children will complete their End of Key Stage 2 (SATs) assessments in the summer term. We support every child to do their best and celebrate their achievements along the way.

Year 6 is also a year filled with special memories, new responsibilities and exciting opportunities before moving on to the next stage of their education.

Our Team:

Class Teacher - Mrs Schofield (Mon-Thurs) & Ms Rudd (Fri)

Teaching Assistants: Miss Roberts & Miss Moore

Things to Remember:

Reading - School diaries must be used and should record all reading at home. This needs to be signed by a parent each time you read.  You are expected to read three times a week for 20 mins.

Homework - Homework will be set weekly via the Atom app. Children will be given ClassDojos for completing their homework.

PE – We will be swimming every Thursday (starting 10th September). Please ensure your child brings their swim kit to school. No jewellery is permitted and long hair should be tied back.
