Spring 2022
During the Summer Term we will be finishing our Art from the spring term and will be Screen Printing and will be linking our art in with our History/geography topic ''Why did ww2 end and did the people of our local area celebrate VE Day?' We will be begin our art by looking at propaganda posters- thinking about the bold and bright colours and he screen priting techniques used in both. We will consider the messages behind them and why the artisits created them in the way they did. We will look at them on the timeline and the purpose of such posters during that time.

Platinum Jubilee art
During the term we will also be taking part in the Jubilee art project to design self portraits using various art techniques developed this year. The art in year 6 will compromise elements of photography with art.
