This term is such an important time for us all in year 5 as we are getting to know each other and building wonderful friendships #Newbeginnings #Belonging #Friendships
TA Support - Mrs Roberts (Forest Schools Lead)
Mrs Roberts also loves to read, especially anything to do with nature and the world around us. She is a wonderful ambassador for our school Eco club and teaches us all many new and exciting things about our local environment. Mrs Roberts has built some fantastic links with the Grozone team, and takes many children on local projects. She looks after our wonderful ECO area, takes care of our school chickens and runs weekly Forest School sessions on a Friday afternoon. In the classroom, Mrs Roberts is a fantastic support and will be a fab member of our year 5 team!
'Our Class our Success Story'
In our class we will work together to achieve success. We will explore motivational quotes and find ones that truly inspire us. We will consider best ways to work, and look at our working memory to really unpick how we work, and the ways we remember key facts and information, which can then be used in any pieces of work. We will explore vocabularly using the Word Ninja - alowing us to build up a broad and rich bank of words and most importantly we will be reading from a range of authors and developing a love of reading.
This year we will have a 2 week timetable to ensure we are able to cover a wide range of of our curriculum. These timetables are attached.
