SUMMER TERM 2020
Our class motto is:
- In Year 5 Mrs Bell and Mrs Clarke expect you to do your best all of the time, showing pride in your work and thinking really hard about all of your tasks. Our Year 3 motto is ‘Do it better than you have to!’ which means that we are always pushing ourselves to get better and surprising ourselves with the amazing things we can do.
- Our work should always be presented to the best of our ability and we will be working hard learning to join our handwriting and set out our work neatly. We will produce beautiful work books that we can be really proud of.
- Attitude and behaviour is also very important and we have a wonderful house point tracker to award those working exceptionally hard. Consequences of inappropriate behaviour will result in moving up the ladder missing time from break and lunch.
- School diaries must be used and should record all reading at home. This needs to be signed by a parent each time you read. You are expected to read three times a week for 20 mins. Each week you will get homework and spellings to learn.
PE – Wednesday and Friday each week (Full Kits MUST be worn and in school all week)
Homework - will be handed out each Thursday to be returned by the following Monday. This should be completed to a high standard and handed in on time. Homework will always be linked to something you have studied in class that week.
